Canada's Rockwell Diamonds announced it has recovered five large stones from its Holpan, Klipdam and Saxendrift mines in South Africa. The gems have between 58 and 136 carats, and bring the total number of plus 50-carat diamonds recovered in the year to eleven. The stones are currently undergoing cleaning and valuation by the company and will be polished then sold into Rockwell's joint venture with Steimetz Diamond Group.
Rockwell, a junior miner, has several alluvial diamond operations and mines in South Africa.
