Canada's Hana Mining announced today it has completed 23 new drill holes at its Ghanzi copper-silver prospect in Botswana. According to the junior miner, 19 of the 23 holes returned "significant mineralization" and increased mineralized strike length in the "Banana Zone" by 2,000 metres to a total 22.4 kilometres. The best results came from the HA-132-R hole with 1.21% of copper in the ore and 16.8 grams of the metal per tonne.
The area hosts inferred resources of 907,000 tonnes of copper and 34.9 million ounces of silver from 60.4 million tonnes of ore.
