Two major steelmakers said Monday they have no interest in acquiring the stake owned by Germany’s ThyssenKrupp in Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica do Atlântico (CSA), a steel mill partnership with Vale. Korean tycoon Posco denied it plans to buy the 73% share held by the German company and said it has not been contacted by ThyssenKrupp. Another possible buyer, Brazil’s Gerdau, also declared it is not interested in CSA.
