Independent oil developer OGX filed on Monday a document to Brazilian authorities announcing it has raised its average daily output to 10,600 barrels in August, up from 7,000 barrels a day in July. In a separate release, the company announced a new oil and gas finding in the Santos Basin. Drilling the 3OGX89DSPS well in the BM-S-59 block under a 170-meter water layer, identified traces of hydrocarbons but gave no further details on the finding.
