A consortium formed by three energy producers plans to spend about US$ 900 million on a new natural gas plant in the U.S. state of Ohio, to process fuel from the Utica shale region. Chesapeake Energy, M3 Midstream and EV Energy Partners are teaming up for the new plant, and could be joined by France’s Total, a shareholder at the Utica fields. The new unit is yet to be named.
